Join us on Idaho’s Henry’s Fork & South Fork of the Snake At Hyde Lodge
September 9 – 15, 2007

Tight Lines on the Henry's Fork

Ian & Charity are pro staffers with Hyde Drift Boats and have collaborated with Hyde to create this incredible package that includes lodging, meals, guided fishing, plus a two day float over night float. You’ll check in on Sunday, fish five days on such fabled waters as the Henry’s Fork, South Fork of the Snake and Teton River, and head home the following Saturday.

    This trip includes:
  • 6 nights stay at Hyde Lodge in Island Park, Idaho
  • All meals from Sunday evening through Saturday morning
  • 5 days of guided float trips – two of these days will be on an over night float on the South Fork of the Snake where we’ll spend the night under the stars in a camp on the river.
  • Airport shuttle can be arranged from Idaho Falls, Idaho or West Yellowstone, Montana

Hyde Lodge is right on the Henry’s Fork and is only a short distance from the South Fork of the Snake and Teton Rivers. We’ll have private cabins at the lodge and eat meals in the restaurant on site. The lodge will prepare a camp for us on the South Fork of the Snake which will enable us to float a remote section of the river over two days. The South Fork fishes well with dry flies, nymphs, and streamers.

Those who want the utmost in remote water will want to float the canyon section of the Teton. This requires a tough hike down into the canyon, but the angler who does will be rewarded with rising cutthroats.

Another stretch of lightly fished water is the canyon below Mesa Falls on the Henry’s Fork. This is superb nymph water with excellent opportunities for streamer fishing.
