The fish Dennis hooked was a rainbow that was probably about 18&quot; long, maybe 20&quot;. A fish that long in the Clinch is in the neighborhood of 3 pounds. That&#039;s about the same range as the fish you hooked on the dry fly that broke off. Those were both really nice fish for small nymphs and dry flies and relatively old, but not in the same category as this brown trout. Probably a mere handful like this in the river at any given time.
