Wait and See How Much Rain Falls to Determine if Smokies Streams Will Be Fishable

Right now streams are high but fishable in the Smokies, but we’ve got some more rain on the way tonight. There’s a good chance that the creeks will be high but fishable on the weekend, but we’ll have to see how much rain we get first.

If you go be sure to have some big nymphs and a split shot or two. Big, bushy dries may work if the sun comes out. These are also perfect conditions to fish streamers.
